Before Class
Bring instrument and music to the band room and place it in the appropriate storage area between 8:40 AM and 9:00 AM.
During Class
1. Enter class quickly and quietly. Do not talk or visit with friends on the way to your seat.
2. Go directly to the storage area to get your instrument before reporting to your assigned seat.
3. Assemble your instrument at your seat and place the case beside or underneath your chair. (Exceptions: Tuba and other as directed)
4. Be prepared and seated on time. Follow directions on the board to prepare for each rehearsal.
5. Be attentive during class.
6. Respect the right of others to learn.
7. Play only when directed to do so.
8. Raise your hand to be recognized if you must ask a question during class. Due to the time needed for instrument assembly and pack-up, students are requested to not ask questions during the first and last ten minutes of class unless it is an emergency (i.e. student is sick, cut, hurt or bleeding). Talking and conversation is not allowed during rehearsals except to ask questions or during teacher-directed class discussions.

After Class
1. Return at the end of the day to pick up instrument and music so you may practice the daily assignments.
